Even though reef keeping is both time consuming and at times frustrating, it’s still a wonderful hobby. When I am busy or not entirely happy with the reef tank, I try and remember the things that drew me to the hobby in the first place.
For me it was the different colors and shapes of corals in clean invisible water. Keeping so many different animals in such a small amount of space was intriguing. Also the look of shimmering light made from the surface ripples made it all seem natural.
So to remind myself to enjoy the process I looked at the tank from the side. The corals are colorful and of different shapes and the light makes it look very natural.
Do you have tips or tricks you can share to keep motivation up in this hobby?
